Cycle 50 Miles Challenge Additional Information

This is the last and longest bicycling challenge. With this challenge, you will have to cycle 50 miles. If you’ve completed the other challenges, you should be in great shape to do this one. Just remember that you are again doubling your distance, which is no small task.

Unless you’re an expert biker, it’s a good idea to start slow and work your way up, as with the earlier challenges. But if you’re ready to try and do 50 miles, then away you go – it can be done and you should be very proud of yourself for completing this.

Since this is a much longer challenge than the others, it is important to be able to pace yourself. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and you won’t be able to complete this challenge if you overexert yourself at the beginning. Remember, this is not a race and you will not be timed. You can take as much time as you need to in order to complete the challenge. Use it wisely.

It is important to ensure that you have all the proper equipment you need for this challenge. Of course, make sure that your bike or exercise bike is in good repair. Oil any squeaks, etc. Also, make sure you have water with you as you will probably be sweating a lot. It’s ok to take sips of water as you work on the challenge, just be careful to not guzzle it.

You may want to check your clothing to ensure that it fits properly and won’t encumber you. Make sure that you have something to keep your hair out of your face if it is longer, such as a sweatband. You may want to have sweatbands on your wrists as well, since sweat can make surfaces slippery.

Before you begin the challenge, you may also want to do some warmup exercises to make sure your muscles are heated up and ready for action. This can include stretching exercises, and you should pay particular attention to your calves, thigh muscles, and also your lower back and arms. Gently stretch them to get them warmed up and ready for the challenge.

Don’t forget to pace yourself and have fun!
