How to do the Dumbbell Side Bend - Learn Proper Dumbbell Side Bend Form

  1. Step 1: Stand with your feet shoulder width apart while holding a dumbbell in your left hand. Your palms should be facing your torso. Place your right hand on your waist. This is your starting position.
  2. Step 2: Bend at the waist to the right as far as you can. Hold for a second and come up to the starting position, exhaling as you do so.
  3. Step 3: Repeat the movement but bend to the left instead. Hold for a second and then come back to the starting position.
  4. Step 4: Repeat for the number of reps in your set and switch so that the dumbbell is in your right hand.
