    Never been a big fan of the elliptical trainer, I only tried it a few times and felt like it did more harm than good because it forced my legs into such awkward motions. It might be a decent way to get cardio, but I prefer the treadmill for that if I'm going to use a machine.

    It works really well if you go hard without holding onto the bars. I do it and my core has tightened up a lot.
