How to do the EZ-Bar Pullover - Learn Proper EZ-Bar Pullover Form

  1. Step 1: Grab an EZ-bar with an overhand grip at the second grip position from the center (little less than shoulder-width apart).
  2. Step 2: Lie back on a flat bench and hold bar up above chin with arms slightly bent.
  3. Step 3: Begin exercise by slowly lowering bar down behind head until arms are parallel to the ground, pause, then bring weight back up to starting position. Do not change the bend in your arms throughout the movement.

  1. Tip 1: Keep feet flat on the floor during the entire exercise
  2. Tip 2: Don't rush. Slowly lower weight down until it is parallel to the floor. And slowly bring back up, exhaling while doing so.
  3. Tip 3: Do not change the bend in your arms. Also, be careful not to let the weight go to far down behind head. This could cause tremendous strain.
