How to do the Jacknife Sit-Up - Learn Proper Jacknife Sit-Up Form

  1. Step 1: Lie down on the floor on your back with your arms extended straight back behind your head. Your legs should also be extended. This is the starting position.
  2. Step 2: Exhale and bend at your waist while raising your legs and arms to meet in a jacknife movement.
  3. Step 3: Lower your arms and legs back to the starting position, inhaling as you do so.
  4. Step 4: Repeat for the desired number of reps.

  1. Variation 1: Lie on an exercise mat instead of flat on the floor.
