How to do the Jogging - Learn Proper Jogging Form

  1. Step 1: If needed, perform light static stretches or walk around briskly for a few minutes to loosen up your leg muscles.
  2. Step 2: Begin exercise by standing upright with your arms bent at the elbows.
  3. Step 3: Begin jogging by stepping forward with your foot and focus on landing between your heel and the middle of your foot. Try not to land straight on your heel or flat on your feet.
  4. Step 4: As you switch the positions of your feet, be sure to swing your arms back and forth to give your body momentum and balance.

    Jogging is a great form of steady rate cardio. It's also very practical and a great way to get out and enjoy nature. Some people do not like jogging because they say it's bad for your joints but we were made to move. And any myths about running being bad for your joints are pretty much dispelled by people like Dean Karnazes.
    Also steady rate cadio can have some advantages to HIIT depending on what your goals are. Here is a great article on steady rate vs high intensity cardio. I give jogging an easy 5 stars!
