Tips

  1. Stand in comfortable position with body weight evenly balanced on feet. Knees slightly bent.
  2. Keep hands more on the underside of the ball. This will allow you to toss the ball without bending your arms.
  3. Keep ball away from your body. Arms should be relatively straight. Slight bend is okay.

Variations

  1. Hold medicine ball above head with arms straight. Begin exercise by swinging arms down and throwing the ball as hard as you can against the ground. Repeat as necessary.
  2. Hold medicine ball against your chest and chest pass the ball against the wall as hard as you can (like a chest pass in basketball). Catch and repeat.
  3. Hold medicine ball "granny style" (with hands under the ball and between legs). Knees should be slightly bent into a squat. Now swing arms up and toss the ball against a concrete wall. Catch and repeat.
