How to do the Standing Overhead Barbell Tricep Extension - Learn Proper Standing Overhead Barbell Tricep Extension Form

  1. Step 1: Stand upright with your feet shoulder width apart and a barbell grasped palms down with hands closer than shoulder width apart.
  2. Step 2: Raise the barbell overhead and fully extend your arms. Your palms should now be facing inward and upward. This is your starting position.
  3. Step 3: Keep your upper arms stationary and close to the sides of your head as you inhale and bend your arms, lowering the barbell to the back of your neck. Your elbows should be pointing upward.
  4. Step 4: Exhale as you slowly reverse the motion and return to the starting position.
  5. Step 5: Repeat for a complete set.
