How to do the Tire Flip - Learn Proper Tire Flip Form

  1. Step 1: Lay a tire flat on the ground in front of your feet.
  2. Step 2: Next, bend at your knees so that your butt is not pointing up in the air and place both hands underneath the tire. This is the starting position.
  3. Step 3: Begin exercise by driving your feet into the ground and pushing up while pulling up the tire with both hands.
  4. Step 4: Follow through by pushing tire forward with both hands until tire flips completely over. Repeat as necessary.

  1. Variation 1: Use only one-arm when lifting the tire.
  2. Variation 2: Use a mini-sled with a harness to pull the sled while flipping the tire.
  3. Variation 3: Complete in as short a time as possible using short explosive movements.

  1. Tip 1: Do not let your butt point into the air. Back should not round.
  2. Tip 2: Keep head up throughout the movement.
  3. Tip 3: Focus on lifting tire with your legs not your arms and back.
