Dipotassium Phosphate Overview

Di-Potassium Phosphate is a 100% natural dietary and performance enhancing supplement that plays an important role in the recovery of muscles. It is more commonly known as phosphoric acid and is considered a salt form of Phosphate.

Used primarily by athletes and weightlifters, Di-Potassium Phosphate helps build endurance while allowing faster recovery in between exercises. Di-Potassium Phosphate is best used by someone who plans to be exercising nonstop for at least 30 minutes.

In addition, Di-Potassium Phosphate helps create energy and is able to assist in the process of delivering oxygen to muscles. This allows for a better overall execution of rapid and strenuous movements such as lifting heavy weights, running, or playing a sport.

Di-Potassium Phosphate Warnings and Side Effects

As with any nutritional supplement, even those that are 100% natural and have no additives or fillers, it is best to talk to or consult with a physician, nutritionists or another health care professional about taking Di-Potassium Phosphate.

Di-Potassium Phosphate is found in certain foods, including cooked meats, bacon, and other types of cured meat. It is also found in creamers and other milk-based powders, as well as certain kinds of chocolate. It is important to monitor intake levels to reduce the chance of overdose of Di-Potassium Phosphate.

Di-Potassium Phosphate Uses

Phosphates have been proven over the years to assist in the body’s energy metabolism process. Any individual performing any sort of consistent exercise or exertion of energy can benefit from Di-Potassium Phosphate.

Di-Potassium Phosphate also helps create and store large amounts of energy inside that body that can be used during physical activity – for example, during a heavy set of weight lifting exercises or in a sprint or race.

Di-Potassium Phosphate also has the ability to aid in the metabolism of certain types of carbohydrates and fats and in turn create even more usable energy.

Di-Potassium Phosphate Benefits

One of the biggest problems for people who are either athletes or workout on a consistent basis is the development of lactic acid. Because lactic acid has the potential to decrease strength and overall output during demanding physical activities, it can be a large detriment to any workout regimen.

Advanced studies have proven that taking Di-Potassium Phosphate can help deter the actual build up of lactic acid within the body. This in turn can help improve the overall strength and endurance of an individual.

Studies also show that this can help the mental and psychological makeup of an athlete. Such an effect will make the exercise or sport seem like it is easier than it actually is.

While there are some supplements available that combine Di-Potassium Phosphate with other substances, it is best to consume the 100% natural supplement with no fillers. As mentioned earlier, always check with a physician or nutritionist before beginning an exercise routine or taking supplements.

Di-Potassium Phosphate Reviews

General reviews about Di-Potassium Phosphate are positive, as different people ranging from rowers to gym rats have commented that the product has helped their workout routine.

The positives include an improvement in endurance, as well as an increased ability to recovery after exercise and working out. In addition, weightlifters comment that taking the Di-Potassium Phosphate helps decrease the recovery time in between sets, which in turn allows them to do more sets.

Some of the negatives center on the taste of the product.  Because it is an all natural supplement, not much can be done about the overall taste. For consumers who wish to take Di-Potassium Phosphate but would prefer a better tasting product, it is recommended that they mix the product with a fruit juice flavor of their liking.

Finally, some reviews state that the best way to consume Di-Potassium Phosphate is to add a small amount to an already mixed workout drink.

Di-Potassium Phosphate and the FDA

Di-Potassium Phosphate is recognized by the United States Food and Drug Administration as a food additive that is on the list of “Generally Recognized as Safe” substances.

As a reminder, it is still best to consult with a professional before taking Di-Potassium Phosphate or any other nutritional or dietary supplement.
