Home workouts are not only for the beginner, but also for the more advanced. One of the primary benefits to a such a home workout plan is pure convenience. Thus, any excuse you made about going to the gym prior is now eliminated!

Just because a home workout is convenient, does not mean it will be easy! Give this 4 Week Home Workout plan a try if you are ready to build strength without the use of any equipment. Pay close attention to your numbers though as they will change come week 3.

As you progress, feel free to repeat this program. But, remember, if you want to make it harder, then you need to amp your intensity. Intensity can be increased by decreasing the amount of time you rest in between each exercise, performing the movement faster, increasing the number of sets or repetitions, and so forth.

If you want to obtain most optimal results, remember to be consistent and monitor your nutrition. Aim for half of your bodyweight in ounces of water. Thus, if you weigh 200 pounds, then you should aim for approximately 100 ounces of water. When building muscle or trying to lose fat, try to increase your protein intake and aim for 0.8 to 1 gram of protein per body weight. Thus, if you weight 200 pounds you should try and aim for 160-200 grams of protein. Though that is a lot, do your best to increase your protein intake each day. In addition, consume plenty of vegetables and fruits.
